VetFund Golf Tourney and Misc.

Hello All, This is Kate MacKinnon, the business folk of clintonmackinnon photography. I had the absolute joy of playing in the annual VetFund Golf Tourney yesterday. To all who played, boy, did we have fun or what?! This amazing event was organized by Ron Brand, the Executive Director of VetFund of the California Department of Veterans. The golf, the players, the organizers, the food, the prizes, absolutely everything was incredible. This tourney was a fund raising event for building retirement homes for veterans. After 15 years of hard work by many people, there will be ground breaking ceremonies June 12 in Lancaster, CA, June 13 in Ventura, CA, and June 14 in Los Angeles, CA. That's 3 retirement homes for veterans going up in Southern California! While I had the great fun of playing in the tourney, Clinton donated his time and photography for the event. He will also be donating his photography for all of the ground breaking ceremonies. For anyone who is interested in learning more about VetFund go to www.vetfund.cdva.ca.gov.
